Innovators Under 35 Europe. The community of young leaders in technology
Innovators Under 35 represents more than just an important recognition bestowed by MIT, it is also a global community of the top leaders of tomorrow’s technological breakthroughs. This community provides the winners with an international platform to pitch their ideas, to access investors and to facilitate their access to new opportunities.
For over ten years the global edition has selected 35 of the utmost talented, young innovators around the world. Some winners from previous editions, like Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook), Sergey Brin (Google) or Daniel Ek (Spotify), are now recognized worldwide. In an effort to strengthen the global community, MIT Technology Review launched this year the European regional project. With the collaboration of BNP Paribas and L’Atelier BNP Paribas, the Innovators Under 35 is happening in 6 European countries this year: France, Belgium, Poland, Italy, Germany and Spain.
The Innovators Under 35 of all 6 editions (Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Poland and Belgium) will meet at the end of the year at the European Summit, which will entail two days of discussion centered around innovative experience and entrepreneurship. The Innovators will share ideas, find new solutions for the challenges of today’s Europe and create ways of impacting their region and the world.
Entrepreneurship is one of the main engines that drive economies and productive development. Europe has become an attractive destination for entrepreneurs, who see it as fertile ground for the development of new businesses and technologies. Belgium is at the political heart of the European Union and represents an ideal environment for entrepreneurship and the best place to expand the community of Innovators Under 35 Europe.
