The Banker 2021 Award Belgium

Industry professionals and Financial Times Group journalists gave us this accolade – for the fifth year running – following a thorough assessment of our service model, strategic decisions and technology investments, plus an analysis of the bank’s financials.

The 2021 awards jury cited the launch of Axepta, our new seven-year partnership with bpost and the alignment of our lending with the UN SDG goals. “BNP Paribas Fortis boasts a strong track record of success in the Bank of the Year’s Belgium country category. This is for good reason: it has consistently demonstrated high levels of innovation and customer service excellence. In recent times, these traditional strengths have been accompanied by ambitious expansion plans which have helped to propel the bank to a winning position once again.”

Max Jadot, CEO of BNP Paribas Fortis said: “We are very honoured to receive the ‘Bank of the Year – Belgium’ award for the fifth consecutive year. The award is a recognition of our Positive Banking strategy through which, even in these challenging times, we are continuing to have a positive impact on our customers, the Belgian economy, our employees and the communities around us
