Didier Beauvois, former Head of Corporate Banking and Member of the Executive Board of BNP Paribas Fortis, has been appointed as Chairman of the Central Credit Committee forming part of the BNP Paribas Group General Management.
Stéphane Vermeire, former Head of Affluent and Private Banking and member of the Executive Board, becomes Head of Corporate Banking. Stéphane continues to report to CEO Michael Anseeuw as a member of the Executive Board.
Sandra Wilikens, former Chief Human Resources Officer, replaces Stéphane as Head of Affluent & Private Banking, reporting to Michael Anseeuw. She will also remain a member of the Executive Board.
Stephanie Grysolle becomes Chief Human Resources Officer and a member of the Executive Committee, reporting to Chief Operating Officer Daniel de Clerck.
Virginie Martens also joins the Executive Committee as Head of Corporate Coverage and CIB Belgium, reporting to Stéphane Vermeire.
Following the appointments of Stephanie Grysolle and Virginie Martens, the Executive Committee now consists of seven women and six men .

Stéphane Vermeire
Stéphane Vermeire is a graduate of Solvay Business School and holds an MBA from JL Kellogg Graduate School of Management in Chicago. He began his career in 1994 at McKinsey & Company. In 2001 he joined Dexia Asset Management, subsequently holding various positions within the Dexia Group, including serving as Head of Public & Wholesale Banking International and on the Management Board of Dexia Credit Local in Paris. In 2013 he joined BNP Paribas Fortis as General Manager, Private Banking and Wealth Management, becoming an Executive Committee member in 2015. In 2017 he became a member of the BNP Paribas Fortis Board of Directors and Executive Board as Head of Private Banking & Wealth Management. In 2023 he became Head of Affluent & Private Banking.
Sandra Wilikens
Sandra Wilikens holds Master’s degrees in both law and tax law from Vrije Universiteit Brussel. After completing her studies, she began her career as a tax consultant with Price Waterhouse, before working as a tax manager with Banque Paribas from 1994 to 2000. She then joined the Belgian branch of BNP Paribas Private Banking as Head of Estate Planning. In 2004 she took up a position as Advisor on Wealth Structuring with MeesPierson Belgium (the precursor to BNP Paribas Fortis Private Banking) and was subsequently promoted to become Director of Wealth Management Belgium at BNP Paribas Fortis and a member of the BNP Paribas Fortis Private Banking management team in 2011. In 2015, Sandra was appointed Corporate Secretary and a member of the Executive Committee. In 2018 she became Chief HR Officer and in 2022 a member of the bank’s Executive Board and the Board of Directors.
Stephanie Grysolle
Stephanie Grysolle graduated from KU Leuven with a Master’s degree in applied mathematics and subsequently obtained Master’s degrees in financial economics from KU Leuven as well as in banking and finance from HEC Lausanne. She began her career as a business analyst at Financial Risk Management Ltd, an international hedge fund specialist and a leading fund of hedge funds in London, before taking up various roles at F&C Asset Management Plc, Merrill Lynch, Bank of America and Deutsche Bank in London. Stephanie began working at BNP Paribas Fortis in 2011 as Senior Project Manager and then as Head of Project Quality Management in the Technology, Operations & Process Services department. She became Head of Pricing in Retail and Private Banking in 2014, Head of Product Marketing Invest & Protect in 2018, and Director of Invest & Financial Insurance in 2020.
Virginie Martens
After graduating with a degree in engineering from KU Leuven and subsequently obtaining an MBA and qualifications in IAS/IFRS (KU Leuven, Columbia Business School and EHSAL), Virginie started her career at J.P. Morgan in Brussels (as a global markets analyst and in the credit department) before moving three years later to Citibank International Plc, Brussels Branch. During her 14 years at Citibank, Virginie amassed experience as Senior Banker, Senior Credit Officer and Head of Corporate and Investment Banking, managing corporate, supranational, public-sector and financial institution clients in Belgium and Luxembourg. She joined BNP Paribas Fortis in 2013 as a Senior Banker and in 2019 became Head of Corporate Coverage, joining the Corporate Banking management team.
