Easy banking, the mobile banking application launched in February 2012, continues to win over BNP Paribas Fortis and Fintro clients. The iOS version for iPhone and iPad has already been downloaded 166,000 times. The Android version, which has been available since late November, has already seen 40,000 downloads to date. These 200,000 downloads mean that some 10% of clients who have signed up to use our online banking platform, PC banking, have already adopted Easy banking.

The Easy banking service can be activated via PC banking without extra charge. All a customer then has to do is download – also free of charge – the Easy banking app on to his/her smartphone or tablet device from one of the online boutiques: App Store (for iPhone and iPad) or Google Play Store (for devices based on the Android operating system).

Easy banking makes an ideal complement to PC banking. The service, which also ensures a high level of security, makes it even easier for the customer to access information and a number of banking functions whenever and wherever s/he wants.  With Easy banking, customers can view the balance on all their BNP Paribas Fortis or Fintro accounts, make money transfers or pay bills and also locate the nearest BNP Paribas Fortis or Fintro branch.  The app also provides an intuitive search engine which enables you to trace transactions easily, display on-screen your transaction history over the last six months and see in real time your current authorised payment limit on your credit card.  In addition, the Assist app, available to both customers and non-customers, provides a step-by-step guide on what to do if you find yourself involved in an accident or facing an emergency.   

All-in-all, Easy banking does what the name implies – distinguishing itself by its ease of use, coupled with streamlined design and an array of useful functionality.
