Procurement Expert Digital and Software - Brussels
- Analysing and challenging the requirements of our internal clients, identifying spending patterns, cost-saving opportunities, and improving procurement efficiency
- Conducting market analysis and formulating a procurement strategy
- Screening and selecting suppliers and presenting a value proposition to the management team
- Negotiating cloud, digital and software contracts, ensuring that they contain all the necessary regulatory requirements
- Actively participating in supplier management process such as steering committees, supplier risk and performance assessments to ensure maximum compliance to the contract
- Cultivating sound relationships with our key suppliers
- You communicate with ease and your negotiation skills are well established: you’re not afraid to challenge the internal client needs, and you know how to shape and close deals
- You’re an experienced project manager, with good analytical and reporting skills
- You have real digital affinity, and knack for corporate social responsibility and circular procurement
- You have a detailed understanding of the main commercial and contractual models and the underlying cost drivers applicable in the IT market for softwares, cloud and related services.
- You’re familiar with legal, contractual risk and compliance
- You’ve acquired several years experience in Digital / Software procurement
- You’re fluent in French and Dutch and have a very good command of English (written and oral)
- The Microsoft Office Suite has no secret for you, and more particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with a procurement tool such as Ariba or Ivalua is a definite plus.
- You’ll enjoy a permanent contract with an attractive pay package.
- You'll be working at our Brussels headquarters, just a short stroll from the railway station, and you'll have the flexibility to work from home 50% of the time.
If the function is categorized as a banking services provider function (cf. Law of 22 April 2019 establishing an oath and a disciplinary regime for the banking sector), you will also need to provide us with a 'certificate of absence of professional ban' from the FSMA confirming that you are not professionally disqualified.
